AUSTIN – Texans for Greg Abbott today announced that it will donate $100,000 to the Rebuild Texas Fund, which was established today by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in collaboration with the OneStar Foundation to help with the response and recovery efforts for Hurricane Harvey. The Dell Foundation is contributing $36 million to the fund with the long-term vision for the recovery of the affected areas.
“I continue to be inspired by the overwhelming support from so many, and I am proud to announce that my campaign will contribute $100,000 to this effort,” said Governor Abbott. “I ask that those throughout the country consider generously contributing to this fund with a big heart, and provide the resources necessary to help rebuild Texas in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.”
