AUSTIN – Texans For Greg Abbott today released a new digital ad, “Biden: Bad On Oil, Bad For Texas,” which highlights Former Vice President Joe Biden and the Texas Democrats’ dangerous views on the oil and gas industry that would ultimately destroy the state’s economy. The digital ad cites Biden’s comments in last Thursday’s Presidential Debate where he announced that he wants to transition away from oil.
The ad also highlights the Texas Democrat Party’s platform that supports a Green New Deal and calls for a ban on fracking and the elimination of oil and gas jobs.
If Democrats had their way, their disastrous plan would kill more than 428,000 jobs, eliminate over $16 billion in revenue and royalties per year, and defund education in Texas by over $2 billion.
The ad will air from now through Election Day in targeted districts across the state.
