AUSTIN – The Texas Association of Manufacturers (TAM) today endorsed Greg Abbott for re-election as Governor of Texas. In a video released by Governor Abbott’s campaign, TAM’s President Tony Bennett praised Governor Abbott’s commitment to low taxes and reasonable regulations, and urged TAM’s members to re-elect the Governor so that Texas remains “the brightest beacon of freedom and opportunity in the country.”
“Manufacturing continues to be one of the most powerful drivers of Texas’ booming economy, and it is an honor to receive the Texas Association of Manufacturers’ endorsement,” said Governor Abbott. “Manufacturers across the state can rest assured that as Governor, I will continue to foster an environment that takes the Texas economy to even greater heights.”
