AUSTIN – The Texas Forestry Association’s FORPAC today endorsed Governor Greg Abbott for re-election. With over 3,000 members statewide, the Texas Forestry Association represents the men and women of the industry and advocates for responsibility and innovation within the forest sector. In a video, Rob Hughes, Executive Director of TFA, praised Governor Abbott’s work to keep Texas a thriving hub for business. Hughes said, “Governor Abbott has fought consistently to protect private property rights, which has led Texas to unprecedented prosperity over the last few years. He recognizes the important role that the forest industry plays in the greater economic success of Texas, and works hard to protect our workers, businesses, and investors. ”
