AUSTIN – TEXPAC, the Texas Medical Association’s political arm, today endorsed Governor Greg Abbott for four more years as Texas governor. TEXPAC has over 5,000 physician members and seeks to elect “medicine-friendly” candidates. In an endorsement video released by Texans for Greg Abbott, TEXPAC Chairman Dr. Robert Rogers called Governor Abbott “a champion for improving medical care for our state.”

“Ensuring Texans have access to high-quality healthcare is one of my top priorities as governor, and I am honored to receive the endorsement of TEXPAC,” said Governor Abbott. “These past three years, I have fought to expand telemedicine, extend the life of the maternal mortality task force and enhance healthcare options for our veterans. Working alongside TEXPAC and the medical community, I will continue in my efforts to establish an environment in the state that expands access and creates better healthcare solutions for Texans.”
