Republicans in the Central Texas area experienced a tough 2018. Narrow victories and heartbreaking losses in crucial state representative and congressional races mean our work is cut out for us if we want to avoid disaster in 2020.
That work begins with voter registration.
Texans for Greg Abbott has embarked on an ambitious volunteer-driven voter registration plan that aims to register Republican voters across Williamson County.
That is why we need YOUR help! There are thousands of households in Williamson County with unregistered adults that we are confident would vote Republican if registered.
In order to register voters in Texas, you need to be certified by the county as a Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR). The Williamson County Elections Department will be holding three separate meetings this month where you will get deputized on the spot.
These VDR trainings will be held on the following dates:
- Tuesday May 7th at 2PM
- Tuesday May 7th at 6PM
- Tuesday May 14th at 2PM
- Tuesday May 21st at 2PM
All will take place at the Williamson County Elections Department located at 301 SE Inner Loop, Ste #104. Georgetown, TX 78626
It will take no more than an hour to get deputized, at which point you’ll be able to register voters in Williamson County! We can then provide you with all the tools and data that we have in order to help you quickly find unregistered adults in the county who are likely to be Republican.
