BEAUMONT – Governor Greg Abbott called on Republican women to continue their critical mission to defend and uphold the strong conservative values that make Texas great while delivering the keynote remarks at the Golden Triangle Republican Women Luncheon.

“Organizations like the Golden Triangle Republican Women’s Club are vital to this mission,” said Governor Abbott. “Republican women are the heartbeat of our movement. The work you do, the calls you make, the doors you knock, and the people you bring into our Republican Party are critical to the future of our entire state. We cannot do this without you. From block walking to phone banking, women like you have exemplified selfless service in the mission to keep Texas red.”

During the keynote, Governor Abbott championed sweeping conservative victories from this past legislative session that protect life, restore common sense in classrooms, and strengthen parental rights in education. He celebrated launching the largest day-one school choice program in America, empowering parents, not bureaucrats, to decide what is best for their children. Governor Abbott also mentioned measures he signed into law banning DEI in K-12 schools and protecting fairness in girls’ sports. He emphasized the importance of electing conservative judges who defend the rule of law and uphold the Texas Constitution, and he detailed bold public safety reforms that are keeping Texans safe by ending the revolving-door bail system, empowering prosecutors to appeal weak bond decisions, cracking down on squatters, banning foreign adversaries from buying Texas land, and ensuring predators who target children or people with disabilities never walk free again.

Governor Abbott also touted Texas’ booming economy and unstoppable momentum as the state continues to lead America in growth and innovation. He highlighted the creation of the Texas Stock Exchange, breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, and the cutting-edge work of the Texas Cyber Command to safeguard critical infrastructure. The Governor closed by rallying the Texas Federation of Republican Women to mobilize voters, defend Texas’ conservative values, and keep the Lone Star State the national beacon of freedom, prosperity, and security.
