AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today received the endorsement of the Reserve Peace Officers Association (RPOA), further solidifying the Governor’s record as Texas’ leading champion for law enforcement, public safety, and the rule of law.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Reserve Peace Officers Association,” said Governor Abbott. “As Governor, I have constantly fought for law and order and fought to have the backs of the men and women who play a vital role in protecting our communities. They deserve a Governor who ensures they have the support, resources, and backing they need to keep Texans safe.”

“The Reserve Peace Officers Association (RPOA) proudly endorses Governor Abbott for reelection as Governor of Texas based on his consistent and unwavering support for law enforcement at every level,” said Founder and President of the RPOA Dr. Willie Ng. “Governor Abbott’s leadership has strengthened public safety, upheld the rule of law, and ensured that active and reserve peace officers have the authority, tools, and resources needed to serve and protect their communities, as well as the respect they deserve. For his proven commitment to law enforcement, and the men and women who serve, the Reserve Peace Officers Association is proud to stand with Governor Abbott.”

Under the Governor’s leadership, he has delivered historic investments in officer resources, training, and community safety initiatives.
