National Cutting Horse Association, Texas Agricultural Aviation Association, Texas Hemp Coalition, Texas Nursery & Landscape Association, and Texas Poultry Federation Back Governor’s Re-Election Campaign
AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today received endorsements from the National Cutting Horse Association, Texas Agricultural Aviation Association, Texas Hemp Coalition, Texas Nursery & Landscape Association (TNLA), and Texas Poultry Federation, reinforcing his strong record of supporting Texas farmers, ranchers, job creators, and the state’s thriving agricultural economy. The organizations touted Governor Abbott’s proven leadership in defending jobs, protecting free enterprise, and keeping government out of the way so agricultural businesses can grow and succeed.
“These outstanding organizations represent the backbone of Texas’ agricultural economy, and I’m grateful to have their support.” said Governor Abbott. “Texas farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses drive billions of dollars in economic activity and support millions of jobs for hardworking Texans across our state. As Governor, I will continue to defend our agricultural industry, protect private property rights, and ensure that Texas remains a place where businesses can thrive without burdensome regulations.”
“Governor Abbott has earned the support of the Texas Hemp Coalition through his proven leadership and decisive action in defense of Texas jobs, farmers, and small businesses,” said Texas Hemp Coalition Executive Director Ilissa Nolan. “His veto of SB 3 protected a federally legal hemp industry that supports tens of thousands of Texas jobs, generates billions in economic activity, and provides regulatory certainty for farmers, manufacturers, and retailers across our state. Governor Abbott understands that smart regulation – not prohibition – is the path forward, and his commitment to protecting free enterprise and personal responsibility makes him the clear choice for re-election.”
“The Texas Nursery & Landscape Association represents more than 1,400 members from the wholesale production, retail garden center, landscape professional, and allied supplier segments of the green industry in Texas,” said TNLA PAC Executive Director Curtis Smith. “In recognition and appreciation of Governor Abbott’s public service and continued support of our industry, we are proud to endorse his campaign for re-election. We look forward to working together to keep Texas the best place to open and operate a green industry business.”
Governor Abbott has consistently championed conservative policies that strengthen Texas agriculture, including reducing regulatory burdens, protecting private property rights, and defending the state’s farming and ranching heritage. Under his leadership, Texas has remained a national leader in agricultural production while fostering an environment where agricultural businesses of all sizes can grow and prosper.
