SAN MARCOS – Governor Greg Abbott today fired up students, alumni, and local conservatives at a Texas State University tailgate hosted by the Hays County Young Republicans. Meeting with fans ahead of the game, the Governor underscored the power of young Texans in shaping the state’s future and praised the Young Republicans for building the next generation of conservative leaders. He emphasized that the upcoming elections will rely heavily on the engagement of young leaders whose conservative vision and commitment will shape Texas for decades to come.
The tailgate brought together supporters from across Central Texas, offering an opportunity for the Governor to connect directly with students and energize young voters heading into 2026.
